Century-year-old castles, vineyards as far as the eye can see, starred gastronomy — Alsace brings together all the ingredients of a wedding that will be remembered.
Alsace offers what few French regions can promise: an intact medieval architectural heritage, world-class gastronomy, classified wine-growing landscapes, and a gentle way of life that transforms every celebration into a fairy tale. For wealthy families looking for an exceptional wedding far from the beaten paths of Paris or Provence, Alsace is the destination on the rise — and our private concierge is the architect.
1. The place: exceptional castles and estates
Alsace has the highest concentration of medieval castles in France. But not everyone is suitable for a luxury wedding. Our confidential selection includes:
Château de Pourtalès (Strasbourg): in the Robertsau park, this 18th century castle hosts receptions of 50 to 200 people in a refined neoclassical setting. 24-hectare wooded park, orangery, reception rooms.
Château d'Isenbourg (Rouffach): overlooking the vineyards and the Alsace plain, this 5-star castle-hotel offers a breathtaking view, historic suites and an exceptional wine cellar. Capacity: 120 people.
Private wine estates: for more intimate weddings (30 to 80 people), we access Grand Cru wine estates normally closed to the public. The ceremony in the vineyards, the cocktail in the cellar, the dinner under the stars — a setting that no Parisian wedding planner can reproduce without local connections.
2. The caterer: starred chefs and reinvented Alsatian cuisine
Our network of chefs covers the full spectrum: from a 7-course gourmet sit-down dinner to a casual next-day brunch. The chefs with whom we collaborate for prestigious weddings offer menus that combine Alsatian tradition and contemporary creativity: foie gras in symphony, Rhine pike perch in a gingerbread crust, soufflé with Marc de Gewurztraminer.
3. Floral decoration
Alsatian florists benefit from a unique advantage: access to local flower farms which produce peonies, dahlias and garden roses of exceptional quality from May to October. Our partners create monumental compositions for ceremonies (floral arches, avenues of petals) and refined centerpieces for dinner.
4. Photography and videography
The Alsatian landscapes — golden vineyards, half-timbered villages, Vosges forests — offer a unique photographic setting. Our partner photographers and videographers master the Alsatian light (golden in summer, dramatic in autumn) and know the best spots for couple sessions.
5. Music and animation
From the string quartet for the ceremony to the renowned DJ for the dancing evening, including a private organ concert in a Romanesque church. Alsace has a remarkable musical breeding ground thanks to the Opéra national du Rhin and the Strasbourg Conservatory.
6. The wedding cake and the pastry
There is no shortage of Best Pastry Workers in France in Alsace. Spectacular wedding cakes, tailor-made wedding cakes, Alsatian candy bars (Bredele, miniature Kougelhopf, Gewurztraminer macaroons). Each creation is designed in collaborationration with the bride and groom.
7. Guest accommodation
For weddings of 80 to 200 people, accommodating guests is a logistical challenge that our concierge service masters: reservation of blocks of rooms in partner hotels, rental of cottages and charming houses near the reception venue, coordination of shuttle transfers.
8. Stationery and announcements
Alsace is home to engraving and artisanal calligraphy workshops. Announcements on vellum paper, menus calligraphed in pen, table plans painted in watercolor — each piece of stationery becomes an object of art.
9. Transportation of guests
Luxury shuttles, vintage cars, horse-drawn carriages in the vineyards. For international weddings, coordination of transfers from airports (Strasbourg, Basel-Mulhouse, Baden-Baden) and the TGV station.
10. The dress and the suit
Private shopping sessions in Alsatian sewing workshops or organization of appointments in Parisian fashion houses with at-home fittings. Our personal shopper accompanies the bride and groom in each clothing choice.
11. Wines and champagne
A wedding in Alsace without Alsace wines would be heresy. We put together the wedding wine list with our partner winegrowers: Crémant d'Alsace for the cocktail, Riesling Grand Cru for the fish, Pinot Noir for the meat, Vendanges Tardives for the dessert. Each bottle is selected, labeled and presented.
12. D-Day coordination
On the day of the wedding, our team is on site from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. Minute-by-minute coordination of all service providers, management of unforeseen events, permanent contact with the bride and groom. One goal: that the bride and groom think of nothing other than going about their day.
“Organizing a luxury wedding in Alsace is like putting together a 200-piece puzzle where every detail must be perfect. Our role is that the bride and groom only see the final picture — never the seams. »
