On July 18, 2026, Mulhouse Fashion Week takes residence at MOTOCO — Building 75, a 5,000 m² industrial cathedral within the former DMC complex. This edition celebrates sustainable fashion where textile heritage meets cutting-edge design.
MOTOCO: From Industrial Heritage to Creative Hub
The MOTOCO complex (More To Come), established in 2012 within the former Dollfus-Mieg & Company workshops, unites over 200 artists and designers across 25,000 m². Building 75 — with original steel beams, skylights, and century-old brick walls — provides a spectacular setting where Mulhouse’s textile history converses with tomorrow’s fashion.
Mulhouse was once the “French Manchester”, Europe’s textile printing capital since the 18th century. Fashion Week at MOTOCO honors this legacy while projecting the city toward a creative, responsible future.
Sustainable Fashion: Alsace Leading the Charge
The MOTOCO edition places sustainability at the heart of every runway. Selected designers commit to organic or recycled fibers, plant-based dyes, upcycling of heritage fabrics, local production, and short supply chains.
“Sustainable fashion is no longer an alternative — it’s the future of luxury. And Alsace, with its textile heritage, has the legitimacy to lead this revolution.”
