From the private tasting of a Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg to the evening visit to the Unterlinden Museum, Colmar reveals itself differently when a private concierge orchestrates every moment. The 10 experiences reserved for initiates.

10 experiences you can't book online. 10 moments that redefine the art of living in Alsace. Welcome to confidential Colmar.

Colmar is universally known for its Little Venice, its Christmas markets and the Isenheim Altarpiece. But behind the postcard lies a city of cultural and gastronomic richness that only privileged access allows you to discover. Here are the 10 experiences our private concierge house reserves for its most discerning clients — the ones that aren't featured on any booking site, tour guide, or app.

1. Private tasting in a Grand Cru Classé

Alsace has 51 Grands Crus, some of the most prestigious surrounding Colmar: Schlossberg in Kaysersberg, Brand in Turckheim, Hengst in Wintzenheim, Rangen in Thann. Our winegrower partners — Domaine Weinbach, Zind-Humbrecht, Albert Boxler — open their private cellars for vertical tastings of 10 to 15 vintages, commented by the winemaker himself. No shop, no tourists: a stone table, Riedel glasses, and three hours of conversation around ancient terroirs.

For connoisseurs, we organize blind tastings comparing the Alsatian Grands Crus to the best Burgundies or German Rieslings from the Moselle. A high-level exercise that systematically surprises.

2. Private night tour of the Unterlinden Museum

The Isenheim Altarpiece by Matthias Grünewald is one of the most powerful works of Western art. To see him in the daytime hustle and bustle is to see him in half. Our privatized access — negotiated directly with the museum management — allows you to contemplate the altarpiece in absolute silence, illuminated by a curator who reveals its iconographic secrets. The route continues in the extension signed Herzog & de Meuron, glass of Crémant in hand.

3. Star-studded dinner in a historic venue closed to the public

Imagine a dinner for 12 seats in the cloister of the Unterlinden Museum, or in the 16th century vaulted cellars of the Maison des Têtes. We collaborate with star chefs from the region — Jean-Yves Schillinger, Julien Binz, Olivier Nasti — to create unique menus served in places normally inaccessible. Each dinner is a production: lighting, florist, musicians, ballet service.

4. Helicopter flight over the Wine Route

From Colmar, a private helicopter allows you to fly over the 170 kilometers of the Wine Route in 45 minutes: the vineyards seen from the sky, the perched medieval castles, the half-timbered villages drowned in the vines. The landing takes place directly at a partner winemaker for a tasting. An aerial and oenological sequence that does not exist anywhere else in France.

5. Private shopping at the antique shops of Colmar

Colmar is home to a remarkable concentration of antique dealers and galleries specializing in Alsatian art, Rhineland Renaissance furniture and Strasbourg earthenware. Our personal shopper organizes private tours with access to reserves, discreet negotiation and secure delivery. For collectors, we identify rare pieces before they are put on public sale.

6. Truffle and foie gras day in a private estate

Alsace is one of the leading French producers of foie gras. We organize immersive days in private estates: truffle digging with adog trained in the forests of Haut-Rhin, then culinary workshop with a chef who teaches the preparation of semi-cooked foie gras, damson chutney and late harvest Gewurztraminer jelly. The lunch that followed was memorable.

7. Privatized access to the Christmas Market before opening

Colmar's five Christmas markets attract 2.5 million visitors. Our customers access it before it opens to the public: morning walk in illuminated Little Venice without the crowds, first mulled wine of the day with the market's master sommelier, access to artisans before stocks run out. We also organize private guided tours of the light scenography, designed each year by a different artist.

8. Well-being retreat in an Alsatian château-relais

20 minutes from Colmar, the sub-Vosges hills are home to exceptional establishments: La Cheneaudière in Colroy-la-Roche, Les Violettes in Jungholtz. We create tailor-made retreats of 2 to 5 days: thermal treatments, guided hikes, yoga at sunrise facing the vineyards, healthy cooking with a nutritionist chef. Each program is designed after a confidential interview with the client.

9. Private concert in a Romanesque church

Alsace has one of the richest organ heritages in Europe. We organize private concerts — organ, string quartet, soprano — in Romanesque churches from the 12th century: Sigolsheim, Gueberschwihr, Murbach. The acoustics of these thousand-year-old buildings transform a concert into a spiritual experience. Capacity limited to 30 people, champagne served in the narthex.

10. Alsatian pastry masterclass with a MOF

Alsace is the land of Kougelhopf, Beerawecka and Christmas Bredele. We organize private masterclasses with Meilleurs Ouvriers de France in pastry: Thierry Mulhaupt, Christine Ferber. Three hours of learning in their laboratory, followed by a tasting snack. The secret recipes passed down are a memory more precious than any object.

Why these experiences are inaccessible without concierge services

None of these 10 experiences can be booked online. They are based on personal relationships built over years — with winemakers, curators, chefs, artisans who only work on recommendation. This is precisely the role of a private concierge service: to be the link between the world of confidential luxury and the client who aspires to it.

“In Colmar, true luxury is not shown. It is whispered, from cellar to workshop, from cloister to vineyard. Our role is to open these doors for you. »
