Cannes Old Port is entering a new era. With an ambitious redevelopment project led by the city and CCI Nice Côte d'Azur, this iconic marina is set to redefine luxury yachting standards in the Mediterranean.
A Monumental Project at the Heart of the Croisette
Cannes Old Port, founded in the 11th century by the monks of Lérins, currently hosts over 800 berths and ranks as the second largest nautical hub on the Côte d'Azur. The modernisation project, estimated at €200 million, plans a complete overhaul of port infrastructure while preserving the basin's historic character.
- Extended capacity for superyachts from 50 to 90 metres
- A modern passenger terminal for Lérins Islands connections
- High-power shore-side electrical connections
- A new landscaped promenade linking the port to the Palais des Festivals
Enhanced Appeal for Superyachts
Cannes competes directly with Monaco, Antibes and Porto Cervo. The renovated Old Port will accommodate up to 20 superyachts over 50 metres simultaneously — a major asset during the Cannes Film Festival, MIPIM and the Cannes Yachting Festival, Europe's largest in-water boat show.
An Integrated Luxury Ecosystem
Beyond the port itself, the project plans the revitalisation of the Suquet quarter — old Cannes — with new luxury boutiques, fine dining restaurants and cultural spaces, creating a seamless route between the Croisette, the port and the historic village.
